How to leave a gift in your will
Should you desire to support the work of YWAM Gold Coast Inc. by leaving a gift in your will, simply ask your solicitor to insert a clause specifying your wishes. Suggested wording is as follows: I give to YWAM Gold Coast (ABN: 85 348 250 246) presently of 78 Hillview Parade, Ashmore, Queensland Australia for its general charitable purposes (or specific purpose as applicable).
Select and insert the appropriate clauses below:
- The whole of my estate
- The residue of my estate
- (insert number) percentage of my estate
- my (particulars of the specific items being given)
- the sum of $ (insert value of cash gift)
In relation to that gift, I declare that a general charitable intent applies, and the gift is free of all duties and a receipt signed by a person authorised by YWAM Gold Coast Inc. shall constitute a full and sufficient discharge for the Executor(s).
